A step by step tutorial on how to make Christmas (or any kind) of hard candy from polymer clay!

I almost didn't make this because I thought it was *too* simple...it's really very easy to do but it's a fun project to take on ;)

Can you use some glaze to get the candy to look more realistic? And if you do, what kind is the best?

I do use a varnish by a brand called J.W. etc that's worked fabulously for me and is my favorite :)

J.W.? Okay. Thank you so much! Are there any tips for beginners that you have?

My best resources have always been the books written by Angie Scarr or if you look up 'polymer clay tutorial' here on dA or youtube :)

My favorite brands to use are FIMO and Sculpey :)

Thankyou!
I´ve tried doing many miniature food pieces with FIMO but it is very fragile.
How fragile is the Sculpey?

That's interesting because I found the Sculpey to be more fragile than the FIMO...another brand that is sturdy is Kato clay (the smell is a bit off putting though :P)
